Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State Warriors – Game 1

Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State WarriorsGolden State Warriors gear up for Oklahoma City Thunder in West finals

The Golden State Warriors with Stephen Curry took down Portland in Game 5 without any trouble. The Warriors also won without Curry but had to rely more heavily on their defense. The Golden State Warriors need a healthy Curry and are certainly going to try to make short work of the Thunder in Game 1. The Oklahoma City Thunder played excellent ball and upset the Spurs winning four out of five in the semifinals. The Thunder will need to figure out how to use their big lineup the same way they did against the Spurs if they are going to win in this series. The matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 16, 2016, at 9:00 p.m. ET at Oracle Arena. The game will be broadcast on TNT.
The Golden State Warriors  MVP Stephen Curry is healthy, and that’s going to make it hard for the Thunder. With Curry in the lineup, the Dubs have averaged about 116 points per game this season. He has been hitting his three point shots as of late and buried 10 of them in his last five quarters of game time plus overtime.
The Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan, will have to figure out how to use his big lineup the same way he did against the Spurs. Steven Adams stepped up big and had a great series against San Antonio and the Thunder needs to figure out his roll again versus the Warriors. If they put Draymond Green at the four and Andrew Bogut at the five spot, Adams can be center in front of the basket and be a force in the paint.  If Green is playing at center, Adams might be forced away from the basket, however Kevin Durant can play a huge role on the boards. Top Sports Blog thinks if the Thunder can’t figure out how to use their big lineup, they could loose big on the perimeter by the best three point shooting team in the league.
